Following on the ten year successful record of the International PSRT, two new Regional round table work groups are available in the United States beginning in 2009. Inaugural meetings will be held in autumn 2009. Applications are being accepted for a limited number of founding members.

- • Quarterly webinars on emerging issues
In addition, the Northeastern PSRT will include:

- • Annual member-driven research study on sustainability best practices (e.g., water footprinting)
The Midwestern PSRT will include:
- • Quarterly updates on trends and initiatives related to product sustainability (e.g., biomaterials, green marketing, investor relations, standards updates)
- • Annual, individual pilot projects on a topic of interest (e.g., investigation of different tools for design for environment, supply chain evaluation, or responsible marketing)
